Event Details
Join in this fun 1 mile walk/ 2 mile run event to benefit Prevent Blindness Wisconsin before the Green Bay Holiday Parade. Run/Walk the Parade route while thousands cheer you on in your efforts to fund free sight saving programs. When done with the Trot, join staff and volunteers in the Green Bay Holiday Parade as part of the Prevent Blindness Wisconsin float. It is a great day for the entire family.

Registration: 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Race Start: 2 mile - 8:45 a.m.
1 mile - 8:50 a.m.

Route will be available for downloading once the parade route is secured.


Prizes awarded to Best Costume, Top Fundraisers, and First Three Finishers for each age bracket for both males and females. Age brackets include: 0 - 13, 14 - 18, 19 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60+.

Cost:
Before 11/9: $15 individual/$45 family
After 11/9: $20 individual/$60 family

entry fee includes long sleeve t-shirt, goodie bag, food & refreshments

Fundraising Awards:
$100: fleece headband
$250: fleece blanket
$500: Fleece Jacket (to be delivered after event)

Prevent Blindness Wisconsin

For 50 years, Prevent Blindness Wisconsin has pursued its mission to prevent blindness and preserve sight. The agency provides free vision screenings to preschool children, school age children, and adults. It also provides public and professional education in vision health, safety, and vision loss prevention.

 

Prevent Blindness Wisconsin is the only non profit organization in the state providing theses services.  Since 1958 Prevent Blindness Wisconsin has screened more than 5 million children and over 230,000 adults. Prevent Blindness Wisconsin receives no government money, and relies entirely on the public and business community for support of its sight saving services.
